"My review of Spices Catering begins with an accidental tasting of Chef Shay's Curry Chicken that my daughter brought home as left overs from an office party. I was hooked with the first bite cause I knew instantly this was authentic flavors that took me back to my travels to Jamaica and Trinidad!
So when I found out that this was catered and not store bought I got so excited to have found my "go to place for food"!!!
I placed an order as a gift for my sons Coach, who didn't get a chance to have the banquet he deserved due to Covid-19 restrictions!! It was actually the best surprise ever and Chef Shay made the process so easy - I went on his website and choose what I wanted, followed the easy steps to submit payment, and the hot food was delivered right on time by the Chef himself!!
Talk about flawless service!!!
Best of all the food was delicious. Two months later I got a call from the Coaches family asking for Chefs number to order "THAT RUM CAKE" for the Coaches wife's birthday!!
I ordered for my family and not only were they surprised to get authentic West Indies food catered ( Like I think Chef Shay is the only Chef offering this authentic taste in the DMV) but the food was prepared with LOVE and the quantity was a lot!! We literally were eating good for a week!! I have not even tried full menu, but I will because the number for Spices Catering is on speed dial!!!
When I want food that feeds my soul, and where I can taste the love poured into every bite, I will order from Spices Catering!
