Spices Catering came to life more than 20 years ago.  While helping to launch a food ministry at church, Chef Shay developed a special bond with an Elder who shared his values of strong work ethic, service to others, and a love for unique flavors. Their bond evolved into mentorship and guidance that ignited Chef Shays passion for creating “Creating Food That Makes People Feel Good.”

Chef Marshay is truly an authentic Caribbean chef.  Chef Marshay drew inspiration from local Jamaican chefs who taught him the beauty of simplicity when infusing bright flavors into each dish. At a young age, Chef developed a talent for blending spices and diverse cultural influences to create flavor filled foods that make you feel good. His heart belongs to the Caribbean which is the foundation for his signature “Pull Up Taste.”
